When you're being quiet the microphone sensitivity goes up by a mile and that causes my teammates to hear every little noise in my background, such as a dog downstairs, or children playing outside.
Participant Joined Meeting Notifications
We have many ad-hoc meetings throughout the day between 2 or 3 members of the team. Rather than ping them and say "Got a sec?" it would be nice to just see a desktop notification that a team member has joined a saved "Permanent call" meeting.
Show list of previous meetings in "Join Meeting"
Sometimes you leave a larger Meeting and rejoin later. For that it would be cool if the meeting IDs could be saved as the meeting exists and keep listed in "Join meeting". This would also be helpful, if the user is thrown out due to broken connection or other reasons.
Keep Last "Permanent Call" on top of Start
It would be very helpful to have a more convenient way to access the saved permanent calls. It currently takes several clicks to join one. Even more convenient would be an option to have a Join Button on the Start page for the last joined (or specified) Permanent Call. (Similar to the "recently left meeting" but permanent)
Add ability to mute other meeting particpants.
Often I am in a meeting with one person who is in the same physical room as I am and I would like to be able to mute them specifically as to not create feedback. This would be a big help.
Allow access without video or audio
I am trying to use Pop as our main meeting tool. We use gather.town for our virtual office, and would love to use pop to enable multiplayer cursor stuff. Right now I can embed a pop room, but I can't join it as the mic and video popups never showup.
Raise hand functionality
Add a "raise hand" functionality so that participants can indicate to the presenter when they would have something to add and eliminate talking over each other in larger meetings.
We use the drawing functionality all the time, mostly for pointing to stuff in code ("add X here", "can you comment these lines?" etc). It would be nice to have a pen with some transparency to avoid drawing over the code I'm referring to, or even a pointing tool which just shows the cursor location in real time.
