I run GNOME 3.36 on top of Wayland and Arch Linux. I can create meetings and start the screen share with no reported issues, but people who join only see a black screen (plus whatever I have drawn). This is because Screen is trying to use X11 APIs to capture what's on my screen, but things work differently under Wayland so it is not able to capture anything. Here is code that implements screen capture under Wayland for OBS Studio: https://gitlab.gnome.org/feaneron/obs-xdg-portal/-/tree/master . Screen will probably need to do something similar (or wait for Chromium/Electron to support screen capture under Wayland). I use this software with my team several times a week and probably 70% of the time one of the developers has to reboot because when they share their screen I see their mouse but I don't see their screen and all I see is a dark blue screen with a spinner in the middle. No matter what we try the only way to get this resolved is a reboot. Now a second developer on my team is starting to have the same issue. All pop clients are up to date. Love the product but this is really unfortunate...

Hello, I am experiencing an issue that has been flagged before ( https://support.pop.com/bugs/p/infinitely-connecting-user ), however, I'm opening a new bug as the other one is closed. When I join a specific meeting room, it shows that my user is infinitely connecting. I am able to participate in the call but it's very annoying to have my phantom user always with me..! I am using the desktop app on MacOS Ventura 13.6.4. I have tried many things - signing out and signing in again, uninstalling and re-installing the app, checking the Activity Monitor to see if Pop processes are running after I close the app (no Pop process seems to run once I close Pop). Nothing seems to fix the issue. I even joined in the browser (not through the desktop app) and I can still see my phantom user in the meeting room. Please advise how to resolve this as it's annoying for me and my teammates. Thank you!!

when trying to install pop, it hangs after agreeing to move to the applications folder. it never moves and I cannot start the application. I'm on MacOSBigSur

When sharing my screen with the team my screen will appear to freeze for viewers. I am only aware of this happening when they report the issue to me over the chat at which point I have to stop and start the share again. This will happen every few minutes. I'm using Windows 10 Enterprise v10.0.19043. My laptop is a Dell Precision 5560 and I have an ADSL internet connection @32Mbps down, 8.0Mbps upload speeds and a 15/99ms loaded/unloaded latency ( Fast.com ). My Pop version is "v8.0.73 | v8.0.20 no updates available" I do not experience similar problems with similar software but Pop is mine and my team's favourite!

Sometimes when I am in a pop and someone is sharing their screen, if I click the button to make everyone's videos go full screen (the button in the first screenshot), the pop window will sometimes break. The videos of the people in the call try to become full size but the pop window itself will stay small. The window of the screen share stays the same. The second screenshot shows what happens when I click the full screen button. I cannot resize the window to try and put everything back to normal. I have to quit the Pop application and open it again.

If I share my VScode window with a colleague and pair program with them, they cannot type punctuation into my window. Super frustrating for both parties, I've seen several comments say the same, but I can't find a solution. My app says there is no update available. v8.0.82 | v8.0.21

When pairing from Mac to Linux, the Mac key is not sent which is a huge pain.

Doesn't completely crash, just drops the call, and becomes unresponsive. Happens on every call. Tried reinstalling it, didn't work.

I can connect perfectly fine to my sisters cpu but I have an MAC PRO 13 Version 10.13.6 and she has a new mac but when i swicth to share my screen it works for like 2 secs then it glitches and goes all white no buttons or interface all i can do is minimize the app and quit it.
