Stops working when starting to screen share (Mac)

I'm running Pop 8.0.8 on macOS Big Sur. When I start to share my screen the Pop window goes black and I lose the connection to the other participant. I have to restart Pop and then it will happen again any time I try to share my screen.

Same for me, pop 8.0.20, MacOS 14.3.1 on M1 Macbook.

I stopped using Pop for months now because this. I can't tell you how much it sucks using Zoom or Slack to collab.
