Unable to copy/paste messages

Hi, when sending messages from the chat, we were unable to copy/paste messages to use when communicating with colleagues. and then it disappears.
Could we be allowed to copy/paste the messages sent during the session before it disappears? or better, have the option to close the message ourselves before it disappears on it's own?

Sending a code snippet or link via messages is currently not useful as a result of this. It would be super helpful to be able to copy messages. I guess a more full fledged feature has a chat history dialog which could be opened and copied from too.
