Screen sharing freezes for some presenters

We're experiencing a problem with screen sharing for some of our employees. When they're presenting, the session may start fine, but at some point it will go to a light blue screen with a spinning icon. Looking at the Pop Activity Monitor during these problems, their "Available Send Bit Rate" value drops from 20,000 to only 1,000. If they restart their computer the problem clears up for a while, but it's happening on a daily basis and becoming a significant problem for productivity.

Hi Jim, I'm sorry for the random screen share issues. I have good news — we are working on a v2 update (and in fact, have been doing so for a while) which is a significant expansion of the product. It includes an update to our core screen sharing code as well as bandwidth estimation that should solve the issues you're facing. I'd love to have you on the beta for that in a few weeks once this specific piece is complete.

J Sherwani (Pop Team): J, thanks for the follow-up. That sounds promising. We'd definitely be interested in helping out on the beta. We use Pop every day for remote pair programming (2-4 people in each session), so we should be able to contribute some good data.

Just noticed the last date on the Changelog is October 25, 2021. Is this product still being supported/updated?
