Infinitely connecting user

Hello, I am experiencing an issue that has been flagged before (https://support.pop.com/bugs/p/infinitely-connecting-user), however, I'm opening a new bug as the other one is closed.
When I join a specific meeting room, it shows that my user is infinitely connecting. I am able to participate in the call but it's very annoying to have my phantom user always with me..!
I am using the desktop app on MacOS Ventura 13.6.4.
I have tried many things - signing out and signing in again, uninstalling and re-installing the app, checking the Activity Monitor to see if Pop processes are running after I close the app (no Pop process seems to run once I close Pop).
Nothing seems to fix the issue. I even joined in the browser (not through the desktop app) and I can still see my phantom user in the meeting room.
Please advise how to resolve this as it's annoying for me and my teammates. Thank you!!
